DEKAfit Anaheim
Second DEKAfit of the year. My goal is to take the experience from last month and nail a good qualifying time to lock in my position at Worlds. I don’t want to have to worry about qualifying later in the year. I just want to put in a solid block and gun for the title.
DEKA is an indoor fitness competition featuring 10 functional fitness zones preceded by a 500-meter run, 5k in total. No matter your background or experience, DEKA will help you set your baseline so you can train with a purpose.
Spartan NorAm Elite Series - West Palm
The first race of the Spartan Elite Series in 2023. The first time we’ll be seeing the new 3k format. 45 athletes, invite only, 3 rounds, 1 champion. I’d like to think I’ll be that guy. I seem to Race well in Florida. I think my record there has to be five 1st and a 2nd. Honestly the main goals of this race (besides winning) are getting some experience for the season, Learning the new racing format and qualifying for major Spartan Championships and qualifying for OCR World Champs. Which shouldn’t be an issue, right?
Battle Bunker Pipeline - Stage 1 Combine
Battle Bunker premiered their elite fitness competition last year with a 3 stage competition at the Chula Vista Olympic Training center last year. I won the 3rd event and almost landed myself a spot on the podium with that performance. Finished 4th. I’m stoked to have a chance to compete again this year following along the qualifying structure for the games. This is the first stage called The Combine. 3 tests, submit you score to advance to regionals and ultimately the final back in SoCal.

First DEKAFit of the year!! Starting the road to the DEKAFit World Championships with DEKA Norcal in Sacramento! Stoked for a trip back out to Cali.
